Hello St. Hubert families and students…welcome back to school!
I am the Student Support Coordinator at St. Hubert School where I am happy to be starting my 21st year. I work with students one-to-one, in small group settings, and in the classroom to primarily reinforce math skills and help students understand the lessons taught. In this role, I also develop Intervention Plans for students whose learning needs require additional resources and I provide liaison to Districts 54 and 211 (and other area school districts) to transition IEPs to ISPs.
Along with this role, I am blessed to be a part of the Jr. High staff for the past three years where I have taught various levels of math to Jr. High students.
Other roles during my years at St. Hubert include instructing remote learners during eLearning, substituting, tutoring, and teaching as part of a long-term assignment in 1st and 2nd grades.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, and I am a long-time parishioner at St. Hubert Church. I am passionate about working with our students, helping them discover their maximum learning potential, and building their strengths to help them succeed throughout their lives.
