MRS. MARTIN REMINDERS:- Effective Nov 1st: Uniform shorts are no longer permissible. Students should now be in uniform pants.
- Extra Candy for the Veterans: If you have a Trick-or-Treater that has more candy than they can eat after Halloween, please donate it for our Veterans that will visit us on November 11th. Treat bags will be made. Please send extra candy to the school office starting tomorrow, Thurs., Nov. 3rd.
- Fri., Nov 11th will be an out-of-uniform day to wear RED, WHITE & BLUE to honor our Veterans' for their service.

In preparation for Discover Catholic Schools Week, November 13-19, we are trying to get the word out about what makes our school so special. Part of Discover CSW has a focus on school families. This is a contest that is open to ALL families and the prize is a $10 Starbucks gift card. Here's the objective:
Pick a prompt:- How has St. Hubert School has made a difference in your life?
- What is your favorite memory from St. Hubert School?
- Why did your family choose St. Hubert School?
- Why is a Catholic education important to your family?

- Post - Submit a picture of your family and 1-2 sentences answering one of the prompts above. (Karyn Weiland will put together the official slide and send you a proof for approval before publishing)
- Video - Submit a 20-30 second video or your answer, please be aware of your background sights and sounds when recording.
FYI - we have also announced a STUDENT CONTEST, should you wish to encourage or assist your student in submiting an entry to our Discover Catholic Schools Week contest. The details are listed below:

- Video - Submit a 20-30 second video, preferably in uniform. This would be a great opportunity to use the green screen and video camera in the media center as a backdrop. Alternatively, you could use any part of our campus they think would make a nice backdrop and use their iPad.
- Please submit all entries to socialmedia@sthubertschool.org by the end of school on Friday, November 4. The winner of each category will win a gift card.
Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 21st: St. Hubert School will be holding Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 21st from 11:00AM through 8:00PM. Classroom teachers will be sending out sign ups to schedule these in-person conferences. Please mark your calendars for this important chance to talk with your child's teachers.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
LOU MALNATI'S FOOD NIGHT--Mon., Nov 7th: Lou['s will donate 20% of total sales back to FSA. The Schaumburg Road location will honor orders from 11am to 10pm. The Barrington Road location will honor orders from 4pm-10pm. Flyer
Veterans' Day Celebration, Fri., Nov 11th: Family and friends of St . Hubert are invited to join us for our Veterans' Day Celebration! Light refreshments for our Veterans' will begin at 8:30am in the PMC Club Room with the program to begin at 9am in the gym.
Taste Of St. Hubert, Sat., Nov 12: This annual event is a way to celebrate different ethnicities and their food! Join us for mass at 4:30pm and then to the Multipurpose Room (Gym) for food & festivities. Tickets are $1 per ticket. Please click here to view the various food options and ticket information. Your St. Hubert Senior Band will play at 6pm.
Buona Beef Food Day, Fri., Nov 18: Deadline to order/pay is FRI., Nov 4th- This is our 1st food day of the school year. THANK YOU FSA!!
- NO LUNCHES FROM FSP will be served. If food was ordered on this day, your account will be credited.

Save the dates for Christmas Programs: The Christmas season is upon us and we are looking forward to a number of fun activities to celebrate Advent and the Christmas season.- Tues., December 13th our St. Hubert Band will perform in the gym at 6:30.
- Thurs., December 15th students in ALL grades (PreK - Grade 8) will perform in our Christmas music program at 6:30 in the gym.
