Active Shooter Drill: This Friday, October 28th at 12:30 our School Resource Officer, Detective Krzysztof Kowal will be here to guide us through this important safety drill. Per Illinois law, as a parent you have the right to opt out your child from taking part in this drill. If you would like to opt your child out of this drill, please let the office know by 8:00 AM Friday morning.
Celebrating Halloween at St. Hubert School: We are looking forward to our Halloween celebrations coming up on Monday, October 31st. Our preschool students will have their party from 9:30-10:30 that morning. Our ghouls and goblins in Grades K-8 will take part in our Halloween Parade around the school beginning at 12:45. We are hopeful that many of you will be able to come and take pictures and enjoy the kids showing off their costumes. Classroom parties, led by our room parents, will take place after the parade. We are looking forward to a festive and fun day!!
Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 21st: St. Hubert School will be holding Parent Teacher Conferences on Monday, November 21st from 11:00AM through 8:00PM. Classroom teachers will be sending out sign ups to schedule these in-person conferences. Please mark your calendars for this important chance to talk with your child's teachers. More information will be coming out in a letter from Mrs. Martin next week.

LOU MALNATI'S FOOD NIGHT--Mon., Nov 7th: Lou['s will donate 20% of total sales back to FSA. The Schaumburg Road location will honor orders from 11am to 10pm. The Barrington Road location will honor orders from 4pm-10pm. Click here for the flyer.
Veterans' Day Program, Fri., Nov 11th: Light refreshments for our Veterans' will begin at 8:30am in the PMC Club Room with the program to begin at 9am in the gym. A sign-up sheet went home today with the children to include a Veteran they would like honored.
Taste Of St. Hubert, Sat., Nov 12: This annual event is a way to celebrate different ethnicities and their food! Join us for mass at 4:30pm and then to the Multipurpose Room (Gym) for food & festivities. Tickets are $1 per ticket. Please click here to view the various food options and ticket information.
Buona Beef Food Day, Fri., Nov 18:- This is our 1st food day of the school year. THANK YOU FSA!!
- NO LUNCHES FROM FSP will be served. If food was ordered on this day, your account will be credited.
- If your child will not be ordering from Buona, please provide a sack lunch from home.

- Tues., December 13th our St. Hubert Band will perform in the gym at 6:30.
- Thurs., December 15th students in ALL grades (PreK - Grade 8) will perform in our Christmas music program at 6:30 in the gym.
Classroom Snacks/Treats: Per the Parent Student Handbook Page 26, "All snacks and classroom treats must be healthy, including birthday treats. Cakes, cupcakes, soda and the like are not healthy treats and will not be permitted in the classrooms. We encourage individually wrapped treats."
Health Information: As we enter the cold and flu season please be mindful of the health information from our parent student handbook: "If your child has vomiting, diarrhea, a sore throat, earache, discharge from the nose, skin rash, eye infections, or an elevated temperature, he or she should be at home. Temperature must be normal, without medication, for 24 hours, and there must be no vomiting/diarrhea for 24 hours before returning to school. Children diagnosed with strep must be on an antibiotic for 24 hours before returning to school."
