Children entering any Preschool session must be 3 or 4 years of age on or before September 1.
Do you offer an Extended Care Program before and after the school day?
Our Extended Care Program runs from 6:30 AM to the start of school and from 2:05 PM (1:30 PM on Wednesdays) until 6:00 PM. Before-school care costs $10 per day. After-school care costs $20.00 per day, Extended Care is available on days only when school is in session.
Do you offer bus service?
Families who live within the boundaries of District 54 are eligible for free bus service to and from St. Hubert Catholic School each day. Students in grades Kindergarten through grade 8 may ride the bus.
Does the school observe the same calendar "days off" as District 54?
We observe most national holidays as well as spring and winter break same as District 54; however, we do not have the same in-service schedule. Our calendar will reflect drive days, which typically are days when we are in session but the District is not, therefore no buses are available on drive on these days.
What enrichment classes are offered?
In addition to the core curriculum, all students in Preschool – Grade 8 have weekly instruction in Spanish, music, art and physical education. Our technology program is directly integrated into our STEM curriculum. Students receive technology instruction, as it relates to their course of study, beginning in preschool.
What is the student/teacher ratio?
In Preschool & Kindergarten there is a 10:1 ratio. In Grades 1 - 8 the average ratio is 17:1
What type of technology is used on campus?
St. Hubert Catholic School has a 1:1 iPad program for all Kindergarten through eighth-grade students. Our STEM lab is equipped with Chromebooks, robotics, and 3D printers. Our Media Center houses our library, and Mac desktops. Students are given various opportunities for exploratory learning to become problem solvers, inventors, and logical thinkers. All students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade eat in our cafeteria. We have 4 lunch periods: Kindergarten & Grade 1, Grades 2 & 3, Grades 4 & 5, and Grades 6-8. Preschoolers enrolled in our full-day program eat in their classrooms.
Is there a lunch program?
St. Hubert School has partnered with FSP/ BOONLI to provide a secure, fast, and easy-to-use online ordering system that allows parents and guardians to view our lunch menu, order, prepay, and manage student lunches from their smartphone, tablet, or computer. Click here for more information.
What extra-curricular and athletic programs are offered?
St. Hubert offers a variety of extra-curricular activities, such as Altar Servers, Band, Boy Scouts, Chess Scholars, Choir, Girl Scouts, Student Council, yearbook and Young Rembrandts Art Club. Click here for more information. We are part of the Northwest Catholic Conference and participation in sports begins in 4th or 5th grade. Does St. Hubert Catholic School offer financial assistance?
Our Financial Assistance Program is intended to help St. Hubert Families who are experiencing a financial setback that would prevent them from enrolling or cause them to withdraw their children from school. Financial assistance is available for students in Kindergarten-8th grades.
The amount of assistance a family receives is determined on a case-by-case basis based on family income, financial hardship, and other factors.
