We have a strong academic record. Our students consistently perform above the Archdiocese, state, and national averages in reading and math according to the iReady standardized test results.
Strong Ratings in the 5 Essentials Survey
St. Hubert Catholic School received strong ratings in the 5 Essentials of Supportive Environment, Collaborative Teachers, Effective Leaders, Involved Families, and Ambitious Instruction. Research shows that schools that score strongly on at least three of these five essentials are 10 times more likely to show substantial gains in student learning and we were strong in all five!
Staff & Community
Diverse and Inclusive
For over 60 years, we've been providing a culture of care, attentive to the fabric of relationships, and able to incorporate many opportunities for our students, teachers, and families to connect and support each other’s achievements. We provide an on-site student support team including a guidance counselor, a full-time resource teacher, and a district-provided speech and language pathologist.
Fundraisers
Parents and students participate in various fundraisers throughout the year. Our student leadership contributes to fundraising efforts by voting on different projects each year, such as food drives, collecting winter apparel for those in need, and shoe donations. Additionally, several committees, led by parents and other stakeholders, work to promote and raise funds for the school. Moreover, students in grades 4-8 engage in the Feed My Starving Children program at least once a year, and during Lent, all grades participate in raising funds for the Rice Bowl.
Exceptional Standards
Strict No-Bullying Policy
Bullying is incompatible with the Catholic mission and will not be accepted. School officials will closely observe all students for any bullying behavior and will respond promptly if it occurs. Bullying is strictly prohibited at our Catholic School at all times, including during extracurricular activities and other events outside of regular hours. No student should experience bullying during any school-sponsored educational programs or activities, while on school grounds, on school buses, or at school-sanctioned events. This includes any form of communication transmitted through school, home, or public computer/iPad networks
High Academic Expectations
At St. Hubert, students are held to elevated academic standards. They receive regular homework assignments and projects. The school follows a modified grading scale designed to motivate students to achieve their highest potential. Those who put in significant effort are acknowledged by being included on our honor roll.
Campus Facilities
STEM Lab
Our STEM lab is equipped with two Chromebook carts that students utilize during their STEM classes. It also houses our 3D printers and robots. Instruction provides a solid foundation in computing and online safety that will prepare students to succeed in high school and beyond.
