IMPACTING THE WORLD THROUGH CHRIST
COMPASSION. SERVICE. PERSEVERANCE.
Academics at St. Hubert Catholic School are designed to provide the greatest opportunity for each student to reach their fullest potential. Providing high quality instruction through rigorous academic, religious and extra-curricular programs is an integral part of the mission of St. Hubert Catholic School. St. Hubert Catholic School enables parents to actively follow the progress of their child at each grade level. We believe that students’ academic success is a true partnership between teachers and parents/ guardians and strive to keep frequent communication on student learning and progress. We have clear guidelines on how our curriculum is planned and delivered, learning takes place and is assessed, and progress is reported. Our teachers are committed to preparing your child for high school and beyond.
As part of this commitment, our school uses a computer adaptive, diagnostic assessment and instruction tool called iReady to assess reading and math skills. Three benchmark assessments are given to students in grades kindergarten through eight during the school year. iReady is not used to grade the student. Rather, the results help us identify children who may need extra support or enrichment with specific reading and math standards. This data is used to drive teacher instruction in the classroom. Additionally, iReady allows for students to receive personalized instruction, at their level, to help meet grade level standards and offer enrichment opportunities. iReady results help us make decisions about the success of our overall reading and math programs at St. Hubert Catholic School.
